Driving off into the sunset

This past weekend I decided to go to NYC to get a much needed break from Ithaca. I arrived around noon in NYC, but didn't get to Yalu's place around 1. It was a really nice weekend, with highs in the 50s and sunny!

Our first stop was the Guggenheim Museum. We were able to skip the long lines due since Yalu were able to get us in using her work ID. The sight which greeted us as we entered the museum were two people who were all over each other in the middle of the floor. We then decided that we would start the exhibit from the top. As we found out when we're walking down, that wasn't a very good idea as this particular exhibit involves speaking with different actors and starts from the bottom up.

After leaving the Guggenheim, we walked around Central Park for a bit. Near the museum, we came upon the Engineer's Gate :-)

The next day, Yalu and I had lunch with Wendy at a Japanese place. It's kinda like a Japanese version of Borders in that it sells books, gifts, and has a cafe.
